All Things Scottish CelticFest 2002 was held Saturday,  October 12 at Ushers Ferry Historic Village in Cedar Rapids from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m..  In spite of all the dire "rain, wind and cold" predictions of the weathermen, we had a "spit" of misty rain in the morning, with the remainder of the day remaining dry, but chilly.   The sun made an appearance in the late afternoon to cap off another successful CelticFest.

Highland Games - This year we had double the number of athletes competing in the Highland Games and a good crowd cheering them on.  It was a great competition, MC'd by Jim Tully and featuring new games equipment crafted by member Dennis Hunter.   Games Master Jonathan Pruessner informs us that results will be posted when they are received from the judges.
